Juventus have revealed the latest update on Mattia De Sciglio's recovery from his recent calf injury. The full-back has been sidelined since the Champions League defeat to PSG in October, but according to club medical head, Dr. Claudio Rigo, progress is being made.
Rigo said, "De Sciglio is progressing well with his rehabilitation, and we are optimistic about his return to training in the near future." However, he did not provide a specific timeline for his comeback, leaving it unclear when the veteran defender will be available for Massimiliano Allegri.
De Sciglio joined Juventus last summer after a brief spell at AC Milan, where he struggled with injuries himself. He has made just six appearances for the Bianconeri so far this season, starting only twice in Serie A as they battle for the title.
