Manchester City have reportedly received a transfer offer for their defender Benjamin Mendy from Openda, but the Frenchman has refused to consider any offers below his £25 million valuation.
Mendy, who is currently on loan at Ligue 1 side Lens, has been linked with a move away from the Etihad Stadium in recent weeks and has been attracting interest from Premier League clubs.
However, it appears that he will not be leaving the club anytime soon as he holds firm against any low-price offers.
The Frenchman's agent, Daniel Ayoub, recently revealed that Mendy would only leave the club if there was "no way" he could earn enough money to buy a house in France.
It remains to be seen whether Manchester City will be able to secure a deal for the player, or if they will continue to hold out for a higher bid.
Meanwhile, another transfer target for Manchester City this summer has been Real Madrid forward Vinicius Junior, who is also being linked with a move to the Premier League.
City's interest in the Brazilian winger has been reported by several outlets, including The Athletic and Sky Sports, but the club have yet to make a formal approach for him.
Vinicius Junior is said to be valued at around £40 million by Madrid, which may prove to be a challenge for City, who are already facing financial constraints due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
