Real Madrid have rejected Paris Saint-Germain’s offer to sign Kylian Mbappe from the French club.

The French forward is currently valued at over £220m and Real Madrid believe they can secure him for much less than that.

Mbappe has been linked with a move to Real Madrid since his departure from Monaco in January.

The transfer deadline for this summer is approaching quickly, so it remains unclear whether the deal will be completed or not.

In a statement, Real Madrid said: “We respect our players' wishes and we will do everything possible to ensure their happiness.”

They added: "Kylian Mbappe is one of the most talented young footballers in the world and we value his contributions to our team."

PSG had offered Real Madrid €150m (£124m) for Mbappe, but Real Madrid believe he is worth more than that.

The two clubs are currently in negotiations, but there has been no agreement reached yet.

It remains to be seen whether Mbappe will ultimately join Real Madrid or stay at PSG. However, it seems unlikely that he will leave for another club before the transfer window closes on July 31st.
